Pine Level Woods Fire Burns Shed, Tractor

A half-acre woods fire spread to a small building and tractor Monday afternoon near Pine Level. Crews from the Pine Level, Princeton and Micro fire departments responded to the fire off Evans Road . Officials said the homeowner had burned a small pile of brush last week. The fire, which apparently never fully burned out, rekindled Monday afternoon and spread to the wooded area. A Red Flag Warning, meaning the danger of fires was at a critical level, was issued Monday morning due to a combination of strong winds, low relative humidity levels, and the warm temperatures.
