Wayne County Murder Fueled By Alcohol

A Dudley man is dead after reportedly being gunned down at a home in southern Wayne County . Eddie Lee Coley was found in the front yard of the home of David John Carr Jr. on Rollowingwood Drive around 2:30 Sunday afternoon. Det. Sgt. Rick Farfour said the murder weapon was recovered, but declined to say where Coley was shot or how many times. Farfour said alcohol appeared to have been a factor in the homicide. Carr had his first appearance in Wayne County Court on Monday. He still remains in the Wayne County Jail.
